🎬 Behind The Scenes of a Successful B2B Product Launch

Over 65,000 impressions, 430 comments, and 53% increase in signups.

That’s exactly what Natalie Taylor, Head of Marketing at Capsule, saw when her team launched AI-powered audio features for their video product.

And as a scrappy, early stage startup, 2 weeks is a really typical timeline to get launches out the door.

Which means you don’t need months to craft a campaign that’s going to get results.

Here's exactly what they did.

1. They Led With Video (Obviously)

As a video editing company, Capsule had to nail their launch video. Natalie treats the launch video as the anchor asset for everything else.

  • Email copy
  • Social posts
  • Sales talking points

The forcing function: A 1-minute video forces you to nail your story and narrative. If you can't explain your launch in 60 seconds, you probably don't have clarity on what you're actually launching.

2. They Turned Creators Into a Distribution Engine

Here's where it gets really interesting. Instead of hoping for organic reach, Capsule partnered with 9 creators (and 3 internal Capsule team members) who each made their own videos about the launch.

The process:

  1. List building: Natalie started with people she already followed on LinkedIn
  2. Personalized outreach: Simple DMs that flattered and gave sneak peeks
  3. Intro meeting: Sales team showed the product, got feedback
  4. Brief & contract: To lock in all the details
  5. Slack coordination: All creators posted on LinkedIn on launch day and shared links to their posts in Slack for others to engage with

3 Things You Should Steal

1. No UTM Links on Social Social platforms penalize posts with links. Instead, they used simple CTAs like "Try it for free at capsule.video"

2. Let Creators Create The brief was simple: 30-120 seconds, show the product, mention the feature. No scripts, no rigid requirements. Trust people to use their own voice.

3. Follower Count ≠ Engagement Creators with 2,000 followers got as much engagement as those with 10,000. Look for engagement rates, not vanity metrics.

The takeaway? The next time you’re getting ready to launch something new, start with a clear story and offer. Create your anchor asset to tell the story in a clear, concise way. Then partner with creators in your space to amplify your reach.

Just make sure you give them the freedom to tell the story in a way that feels authentic to them.

You don’t need months to bring this to life. Start small. You probably already know 5-10 people in your network who could help amplify your next launch. Stop overthinking it and start building your list.

📬 [TODAY] Email Deliverability: What Every B2B Marketer Needs to Know

You spend hours writing the perfect email. Crafting the subject line, testing copy, timing the send.

But if your deliverability is off? None of it matters. Your message never even makes it to the inbox.

In B2B, email is still one of the most powerful ways to reach buyers, whether you're sending cold outreach, newsletters, product updates, or event invites. But behind every great email strategy is one thing that often gets overlooked: deliverability.

In this live session, Dan is joined by Sara McNamara, Revenue Operations & GTM Strategy Lead at Vector, and Alex Fine, co-founder of Understory, to unpack what’s really going on behind the scenes of email performance.

They’ll cover:

  • Why your emails are landing in spam (even if they’re legit)
  • What causes domain reputation to tank and how to rebuild it
  • The metrics and signals that actually matter for deliverability
  • Tools and tactics to get your emails opened, read, and replied to

If email is even part of your GTM motion, this session will help you spot issues, level up performance, and make sure your team’s messages are actually getting seen.

Bring your questions and join us for the live session.
